The fifth yearly International Tool Summit will be held in Moscow within the framework of RosMould 2010, the International Mould Making and Technologies Exhibition, which takes place at the Crocus Expo June 2–4. Its subject is strategies and practices for increasing the efficiency, quality control and profitability of shape-forming tools.

The main areas of serious and multilateral discussion at the Tool Summit will be the features of the forming-equipment and tool market (moulds, die moulds and stamps); the application of effective new engineering solutions; the use of new steel and composite materials and of innovative production support technologies; high-speed and precision techniques of mechanical treatment and assembly; methods and measures of output quality control; leveraging current best practices; and methods of managing mould profitability and quality.

Traditionally, the summit examines these subjects from the perspective of contemporary methods of design, production and application of shape-forming tools, with a view to scientific and engineering achievements. Well-known industry companies, product developers, academic and research scientists, tool builders and technologists, and machine constructors are invited to present reports at this always anticipated RosMould event.

As compared with the previous exhibition of 2009, when the developments of 190 companies, representing 15 countries of the world, including national collective expositions from Germany, Italy, China,Australia, Portugal, Taiwan, Finland and France, were represented on a single site with an area of 6,000 m², the forthcoming 5th anniversary exhibition in 2010 will significantly expand, reaching the size of 10,000 m² with scheduled participation of about 300 companies from 20 countries of the world.
